But the icing on the cake may have been the school’s request that the cafeteria worker attend mediation sessions with the student who falsely accused her, presumably so the cafeteria worker could at least apologize for her subconscious bias; even if she didn’t do what she was accused of, she was surely capable of it. The mind just reels.
